In today’s post I want to talk about money and the base chakra. Both are very much related. Today’s blog post is in response to a comment I received on another post on my blog called Seeing is Believing. My lovely commenter, Shweeta, has requested information on switchwords for money and prosperity, so I figured I would do a post so that all my readers can benefit.
If you are anything like me, you probably lead a very busy life. In the past week or so I have gone back to listening to self-improvement Podcasts. I was looking for a way to boost my positivity without having to read more articles and books. I wanted something that was quick and easy and that would be easy to fit into my schedule. Podcasts are perfect. They vary in length but can be so insightful.
I know that I have been quiet for the past week or so but that is because I have been so busy. I had lots of client work which is always a good complaint and I have been listening to all the amazing interviews in the Hay House World Summit 2015. This is a free event that ran over the month of May and featured 100 interviews with Hay House authors and speakers. It was fantastic and there was so much information to absorb. There were some great movies to watch too and I enjoyed these every evening. If you are a fan of Louise Hay or Dr. Wayne Dyer you will probably have heard of this event and more than likely spent a great deal of time listening to all the wonderful interviews just like I did.
I am a big believer in synchronicities. In fact, I am always on the lookout for them and I acknowledge and write them down whenever I notice them. Of course, the more I pay attention the more I notice them. I have been reading about the Law of Attraction since 2008 and through the years I have immersed myself in so much information that sometimes I think my brain is like a huge, old library. I remember reading long ago that synchronicities are your acknowledgement that the universe is listening to you. The problem is that most of us don’t take the time to notice them. We are so quick to say I want this, I want to that, please help me with, show me the right direction to take, etc., but we aren’t watching for the answers.
Today I want to talk about limiting beliefs. We all have them and there are some very common ones that I want to look at. These common limiting beliefs can hold us back in life and what I want to do with this post is give you some ideas on how to transform the limiting beliefs into positive statements or positive affirmations.
Today I wanted to talk about things that can drain your energy. We all have those days where we just feel tired or exhausted for absolutely no reason. We all have the days where we feel great until we bump into a friend or family member and after just ten minutes we feel drained and like we just want to go back to bed. What we aren’t aware of is that there are things that drain our energy and leave us feeling run down, tired, unmotivated, and so on. This is the topic I want to address today but before I can do that, there are some questions that need to be asked.
Today I want to share with you all an article that I wrote as a collage assignment when I was completing my freelance journalism degree two years ago. The article is still relevant today and it fits with the theme that I have been following on my blog.
There are days when we all need a break. Days when we need to slow down and take things easy. There are also days when we need to give ourselves a little push to get things done. I have these days and I have found that when I truly listen to myself, I know when it is a day where I need to push myself or a day when it is important for me to just relax and take some time out for me. There are times when we all work too hard, no matter what our job is, and we need to take some time to chill out and relax.
