Thought Of The Day 9th April 2010

angel thought of the day

Today when I asked for my thought for today the first thing that came to mind was “I am safe”.  But what does this mean?

I am Safe

I am safe to pursue my dreams, I am safe to make changes, I am safe to be me.  It all corresponds to believing in oneself and taking the time to actually make the changes.  All too often we procrastinate, thinking of what might go wrong.  Are these changes the right ones, what will happen if I make these changes, how difficult these changes will be?  Am I ready to make these necessary changes?

All too often we procrastinate too long and nothing actually happens.  Life goes on the same nothing changes and we go round in circles continually saying we will make changes and never actually doing it.

Life is for living and if all you do is think about things how do you actually get anything done?  You need to take action to get anything done because without action nothing happens.  Life becomes mundane boring and repetitive.  You get out of bed, you wash, you dress, you do the things you have to do but that is it.  You sit and daydream about what might be, about the money you might earn, the love you might find, the things you might do but without action all these things remain just daydreams and nothing more.  Action could be something as small as making that phone call, writing that blog post, something really simple that takes just minutes.

My message today is to take action and know that you are safe taking this action.  You can’t fail just for today everything will be ok and you are safe to finally take the first step and make the changes that you have been thinking about for far too long.
