Book Review: Death Made Me by Keeley Webb

Last week I had the pleasure of reading Death Made Me by Keeley Webb and I’ve posted my review below along with the book cover and description.

I absolutely loved this book and was gripped from the very first page. The author weaves an amazing tale of love and loss and the lessons learned in death. The writing is flawless and I loved the tone and style. The first half of the book tells Barry’s story and I loved all the characters and how they interact. I also loved the end of his section where he took his mother upon her death to be with his father. There were lots of moments throughout where I had tears in my eyes. Part two of the book is Emily’s story and once more I was gripped. I loved everything that happened and how all the characters grew and matured as the story continued. I found everything so believable as if I were a part of the story and this is what makes a great book for me. Being able to immerse myself in the story and become the characters. This truly was an amazing book and I can’t wait to read the sequel. This is one author I am adding to my watch list. If you are looking for something a little different that will grip you from the start and have you turning the pages, then this book is a great choice.

Save Her Soul – Preorders Are Live

My new novel, Save Her Soul, is now live for pre-orders at the special price of just $0.99. This is a paranormal/urban fantasy romance and it releases on the 1st of August.

My beta readers loved it and already has a couple of early reviews on both the US and UK Amazon sites, as well as on Goodreads.

This book revolves around two main characters, Kate and Drake. Kate’s sister has been murdered and her goal is life is to get revenge on the people who committed this heinous act. She vows to get her revenge, but she doesn’t realise the consequences it will have. Drake has been dead for 500 years and has been tasked with the mission of saving Kate’s soul. He has other plans though. I’ve included the full blurb below and can’t wait for everyone to read it. I had so much fun writing this novel and my characters really surprised me. I think what I enjoyed most was Kate’s stubbornness and her belief in what she was doing. She remained true to her character throughout and the ending really surprised me. I won’t spoil it for you, but let me just say, I wasn’t expecting her to do what she did.

Finding Forever Nominated for a 2017 Summer Indie Book Award

My debut novella, Finding Forever, has been nominated for a 2017 Summer Indie Book Award. I still can’t believe it and I have no idea how this happened. I received a message on Facebook to say that my book was nominated. I am so grateful to everyone who felt my romantic suspense deserved this honour. Voting begins in a month or so and once I have more details I will be sure to let everyone know.

For now, I am just going to enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling, take a deep breath, and keep writing.
