Martin Luther King said, “I have a dream”, but he didn’t just have a dream, he had a dream come true.
We all have dreams and if we believe in them with all our hearts and we follow them with passion, they will come true.
What are your dreams?
Take a few moments to think about this. Have you followed through on your dreams or have you let them slip away as life took over? You don’t have to let your dreams slip; you don’t have to brush them away. Whatever it was, think about it now. Do you still want it?
If you want your dreams to become a reality you need to start focusing on them. Just 15 minutes a day is all you need to start turning your dreams into a reality. What can you do in the next 15 minutes that will put you on track to fulfilling your dreams? If you have always wanted to write then why not start now. In fifteen minutes you could have a couple of pages of your first novel written. Even if you just commit to three pages a day, at the end of the month you will have nearly 100 pages written. That’s almost half a novel.
Whatever your dreams and goals are you need to see yourself fulfilling them. Visualise yourself having reached them. How did you get there? What steps did you take?
Write down all the steps and then break them down into things that you can do in fifteen minute segments. Ask yourself each day, what can I do in the next fifteen minutes to help reach my goal? You don’t have to do things overnight. The biggest successes take time and small steps are all you need to start. Once you take one small step each day your dreams and goals will be closer and closer.
What are your dreams and goals?
What are you going to do today to make them happen?
