It’s been a very busy couple of months for me and my family. We have moved house and in doing so, I received a fabulous new office. This is a lovely, large, open plan area upstairs in our new home. It is an attic conversion room, with plenty of sky lights and amazing views over the countryside. It really is just perfect for working in. I have been asking the universe for my ideal home for quite some time now and I always included my own office space to work from. Well, it looks like my wish has arrived and I am so excited to be able to work in such a tranquil area away from all the noise and busyness of the rest of the house.
As you may have noticed, as well as a change in location, I have also updated my website to include a brand new design. I wanted to make sure my website was accessible to everyone, so I have gone with a mobile compatible theme that is also very easy on the eye. There is plenty of white space. I have also added in some lovely progress meters over on the left hand side where you can see how I am progressing with the books I am working on. I love this idea and it also keeps me motivated.
Aside from the changes, I have also been very busy work wise. I am working on a fabulous ghostwriting project that is all about positive change and how to live the life you desire. The book is coming along nicely and the client is very happy. Always a plus when creating something for someone else. I also have my regular clients that keep me busy but I don’t mind, they are important to me too, they keep the bills paid and allow me the luxury of working from home.
My own books are also doing great. My latest title: Angels: Understanding, Recognizing and Receiving their Assistance using Oracle Cards is currently at #54 in the Angels category on Amazon. I am delighted with how this book has been received and the reviews have been very positive.
I have a few more changes to make to my website over the coming weeks and you will find universal links to my books so no matter where in the world you are, if you are looking to purchase them on Amazon, the link will take you to the correct site. These links are great for writers and you can get them free from www.booklinker.net. When you create an account on their site you will also be able to get statistics on your links which is great.
I wouldn’t be a writer if I didn’t read and I have been doing a lot of that too. I am currently re-reading The Mortal Instruments books by Cassandra Clare so that I can refresh my mind before diving into the final instalment which is book 6. I read the first five books last year thinking I had the entire series and was so disappointed when I realised that there was still more to come. I am starting book five this evening and hopefully I should be reading book 6 by Friday.
That’s about it for my updates for today. I will be hopefully be updating my blog a lot more in the coming future and will be featuring guest posts, book reviews, and keeping everyone up to date with what is going on in my life.
Until then,
Keep reading and writing, and if you would like to leave a comment or suggestion, please do. I love reading your feedback.
